We recommend a donation/payment in increments of double $18 (e.g., $36, $72, etc.), as 18 symbolizes chai, or "life," in Jewish tradition.
Many programs like ours rely on donations to cover event costs, with the hope that those who are able will give a bit more to help support those who cannot pay.
