I decided to run the NYC Marathon because, simply put, I wanted a challenge. I’ve always enjoyed pushing myself, and running the NYC Marathon felt like the perfect opportunity to do just that.
I’m running with Commonpoint, a New York nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families throughout the community through programs focused on education, wellness, economic opportunity, and overall well-being. They’ve given me the opportunity to run, and I’m truly in awe of their commitment to helping people not just survive difficult times, but thrive with dignity.
Now, I’m hoping to turn my personal challenge into something bigger by raising $5,000+ for Commonpoint.
