Last November, I took up running as a way to regain control of my health and habits. I needed a way to stay motivated, and what started as a small idea has grown into a massive goal: the 2026 NYC Marathon.
I’m especially grateful to have been selected for one of only 10 spots to run with Team Commonpoint. They’ve been a lifeline for New Yorkers for 80 years—handling everything from food pantries and mental health support to youth programs.
This will be a demanding year, but I’m excited to push myself for a cause that makes a real impact. I’m aiming to raise $5,000 for Commonpoint.
