Last November, I made a decision to take control of my health and build better long-term habits. I didn’t come from a running background, but I committed to training for the NYC Marathon as a way to challenge myself and stay accountable.
What started as a personal goal has grown into something bigger.
I’m running with Commonpoint, an organization that supports New Yorkers at every stage of life, from youth programs to career development to services for older adults. Their work is rooted in community and long-term impact, which is exactly what drew me to them.
If I’m going to put in the time and effort to train for something this demanding, I want it to support a mission that makes a real difference.
I’m working to raise $5,000 to support Commonpoint.
If you’re able to contribute, any amount helps. And if not, sharing this page or following along with the journey means a lot.
Thanks for being part of it.
