About Me
Hello Everyone, my name is Zach! I am a Queens native and have been involved with Commonpoint since 2017. In my high school years I was a member of Teen Council and I worked as a counselor at Commonpoint's summer day camp in 2018 and 2019. Commonpoint Queens has had a strong, positive impact on the man that I am today, so I find it appropriate that granted the opportunity, I should give back in a way that I know how.
Why I Am Running
I am running for Team Commonpoint as a means of giving back to a community that has long been a part of my life. I aim to raise funds for Commonpoint Queens' programs, to include emergency food support, college access and persistence, and mental health support for the members of our community. I am also running in memory of Captain Omer Neutra Z"L, a long-time friend and classmate. I run both to honor his brave sacrifice and to continue to raise awareness that he has not yet been brought home to us.
